Please choose the most appropriate answer for CI towards Immunization :
A) prematurity

ok .. good, but i didnt specify Aminoglycoside. I just said ANTIBIOTICS ( * mostly allergic r penicillins & cephalosporins, rarely amino)
this Q is quite interestin n at same time confusing ..... as it CAN b B, but if u remove aminoglycosides .. then ?
anymore guess or explanations ?

we have to be specific when we say antibiotics. Only the vaccines containing aminoglycosides (neomycin in measles, mumps, rubella, MMR and IPV. Streptomycin in IPV and MMR) are CI to children with hypersensitivity to these drugs. I dont think there is any vaccine CI to some one with pen or ceph hypersensitivity. The purpose of this question clearly is to ask if we know that there are certain vaccines containing aminoglycosides and that some people can be allergic to them.
When we u say antibiotics, u dont exlude aminoglycosides and for that matter any other class of antibiotics. And Also, none of the other condition mentioned in question stem is A CI to vaccination.

prob they mean that a person receiving plasma /ig has an immune disorder needing supplementation!

about 3 months after IVIG the vaccination is contraindicated because of neutralization of effect of vaccin by ivig
