Ah another day goneby. Well like almost all the days yet i havent finished what i intended to . Lots of distractions (of my own creation offcourse). I read 5 chapter of obs but could only listen to lecture for 3(man he is so good). p.s. i did first test from pretest and it was very good(loads of information) I will tell you later if rest of the tests are any good

Kingsofke, it would be really nice if you let us know if you find the pretest series useful. I had planned on doing Q book, UW, NMS and internal medicine Q bank for Kaplan for CK prep. I will look for the pretest books if you recommend them. Thanks.

Hey lisaM i cant comment on Pretest , its so variable. i did the surgery pretest and liked it much and then i didnt do IM pretest cause it was so poor and i did 3/4 of paeds and it was so so. I am doing obs and its ok. Actually the only reason i do it is because i get many extra bits of info which i add on to my kaplan. On the whole i wont recommend it for everybody. I wont be doing qbank of kaplan from your list and i would add qbook of step3 in it. and just may be AL review for paeds too. hi kerochi , saw you after somedays man. I am doing UW subjectwise which is to say i have OBGYN and Psychiatry left. thanks . Very slow progress although i didnt wasted much time today or did i? . Any ways still in obs and miles to go before gynae.

Finally i am over with my first reading though i have just a few things unfinished but thats what second reading is for right . Just a quick over view I did all the kaplan step2 and step3 lecture notes . I listened to most of the kaplan dvds. I did almost all of the UW. I did much of pretest . Am taking couple of days off. Esp as i am planning for a very intense prep ahead (lets see ). I have made a 1m 15d schedule for the second reading, And i am planning to do Kaplan lecture notes ,read boards and wards subjectwise, Do wrong Q.s in UW and read other underlined explanations (yes i have it on books) and Step2 Qbook subjectwise. I am also planning on doing STep 3 Qbank which is not given subjectwise so i would do it 50 q,s daily , starting late in the 2nd reading. I will leave step3 Qbook for 3rd reading. But for now i am going to enjoy the weekend completely. All the best to all of you in your prep, keep up the good work.
