can some1 help me with this.. wch of the 2 ,shizotypal or schizoid ,is associated with social isolation n pateint prefering to be by himself... ?
also can some1 explain the diff schizos... schizoaffective, schizophreniform n all other possible schizos... its confusing me..

well,
shizotypal is the person who believes in superstitious things ,fictions and something that really doesnt exists..........
schizoid is the kind of person who likes to be alone.,like a night watchman
schizophreniform is a person who has sypmtoms of schizophrenia ,but the period is for a less than 6 months
more than 6 months it is schizophernia
i forgot about schizoaffective disorder ,can somebody help us plz?????

And less than 1 month for shzophrenia like symtoms is Brief psycotic disorder (with full return)
Shizophrenogenic family: Families with strong negative emotions and dual talks NOT associated with shizophrenia though associated with Schizoid personality disorder.
