ercp, ct scan when to do what, driving me nuts.

ERCP is both diagnostic s well as teraputic procedure Eg- Gallstone removal n diagnosis if stone on duct,Placing stent in Ducts in case of obstruction,Helps in opening ampulla in c/o ampullary Ca.But the biggest disadvantage is Pancreatitis that it can cause post procedure.
So, if pancreatitis suspected Do CT scan,CT can also be used in staging Cancer.I think it will help u.
