A 36yo single man is admitted to the hospital for DVT.He has been inappropriately provocative&seductive toward female staff.Dramatic&suggestible,he appears obsessed with his attractiveness. He exaggerates his familiarity with some staff members&displays shallow, shifting emotions. For this pt,u might recommend which of the ffg interventions to the staff? A. be straightforward, explain everything, expect distrust B. set firm limits, consider an antidepressant C. similar pts generally do well, but avoid criticism D. share control with the pt in as many ways as possible E. set firm limits on pt and staff roles, remain noncritical

E... there is no reason this patient should get an ssri... It won't help you or them... Plus I don't think this is an indication for sedation or medication of any sort.

I think he has histrionic personality so the best thing should be to set specific limits but remain acritical. I'd go for E. what's the answer?
