oh,guys!-

anything else,but not a!-pregnancy lasts for 266 days or 38 weeks-kaplan OB/GYN,p.19.

i'd say either b or c.

P.S.unless they meant obstetrical week-but in that case they should've specified.....

WELL DONE ALENKA!!! The answer is B.

Pregnancy lasts 40 weeks from the first day of the last menstrual period in a 28-day cycle, or 38 weeks from conception, so A is not true. C is not true either (a matter of stats I s'pose) and we all know the a fetus is not independantly viable at 20 weeks of gestation. B is true but I've no explanation for it.disapproval

wink

b is tru cause if its a 38 days cycle instead of the usual 28 days the the ovulation occurs on the 24th day instead of the 14th day as the proliferative phase is always constant i.e. 14 days.

so here 10 extra days will have to be added to the expected date of delivery so as to compensate for the 10 day delay in fertilization...wink
