I am afraid I may come across with a drug I never heard of. Can I ask the SP to spell it? Or, Can we list some most frequently used medicines here? Probably commericial names. Like for asthma...

They use generic names and medications that even our mothers know;0) Something like albuterol or HCTZ. Also actors can have props. So it wold be very useful to ask: " Did you, by any chance, bring medications with you today?" And the chances are that the patient will point on the bottle at the table. You say then: " Thank you very much. it was very thoughtful of you." If not... You always can ask to spell. Do not afraid to ask. Communication is a key.
