there are only 2 essential amino acids mentioned in the options - valine & tryptophan. essential amino acids, as we know, are products that are not produced by the body and need to be given artificially just like the vitamins. so, it makes sense to give tryptophan externally if we cannot, due to allergy, give niacin as T is a precursor of N. thinking of valine - I would think of sickle cell disease where it substitutes for glutamic acid. this makes the Hb (in lay terms) hydrophobic & unbendable - giving rise to the rigid structure of RBC and eventual hemolysis. the only thing I can think of in respect to proline is Vitamin C which converts it to hydroxyproline.
