hi guys,ive watched this fourm for a long time, i need to ask and see who can help, i took step1 three times and i didnt pass, tonight i checked oasis and it let me reapply for step one after my date of exam and score are reported, meaning i failed again, im depressed but calm,i guess you get used to failing or i dont know what, im feeling extremly down and feel like a broken glass, cant be repaired or fixed,i feel as if i lost meaning to life and my life has stoped here,im lost,dont know what to do next, how could i study again, and lets say i can study for this stupid step one again and pass it, whoes gonna accept someone who failed 3 times,no program will take me what so ever,what are the alternatives for someone in my situation, anybody knows? i mean i have an md but its worthless right now.. anyways,i dont wonna bother you people more,,thanx

Dont get depressed Ups and downs are the part of life. I think before giving the actual exam you should consider taking NBME to check where you stands. Correlate the score with the score mentioned in the forum and then give the test.
Most Imp is to study effectively, group study is the most effective way to correct our mistakes.
Learning consist of the following three"R"
Read
Remember
Recall at the right time ( I think this one is most important )
Hence you test yourself before going to real exam
Personally I dont know if the number of attempts are pass on to the program directors.
