If some program don't sponsor visa, but I really want to apply, can I get J-1 sponsor from ECFMG? Is it difficult?

Usually all J1 visas are sponsored by ECFMG itself.Explain to the program.......if they still are reluctant then you'll have to forget it.One program is keen on interviewing me but they said they won't be sponsoring any visa......so brings me to the same question as yours!!!They are aware
