I just got my first interview invitation via email, which is only 2 days after I submitted my application. I have a choice of dates from Nov to Jan, could you kindly tell me what will be the best dates to pick? Is Nov so early that they will forget who you are in the end? Is Jan too late because the decisions have already been made? I greatly appreciate your help!! tong

My PD and I have reviewed this over the years and there doesn't seem to be any trend that we can pick up on. Good luck - let me know asap (well, who ever the coordinator is.....)

I guess take the date asap, the dates get filled up fast. Keep your good hospitals for the last and take the not so good ones in the beginning because there is a learning curve in the interviews. You get to know what questions are asked and you tend to answer the tricky question more confidently. Where did you get the call from. M

thank you so much, BBB and Malathion. Malathion, I got this invitation from MGH in Boston for Anesthesia, a great surprise. So do you think Jan is better than Dec since I deem this a best pick? Please let me know. Many many thanks again.
