Hey cheer up .You'll be fine you still have a while.Take a break if you need to but put in your best I'll pray for you right now.I'm sure you'lll do fine. Enjoy this poem Wheatland tThings Work Out By Edgar A. Guest Because it rains when we wish it wouldn't, Because men do what they often shouldn't, Because crops fail, and plans go wrong- Some of us grumble all day long. But somehow, in spite of the care and doubt, It seems at last that things work out. Because we lose where we hoped to gain, Because we suffer a little pain, Because we must work when we'd like to play- Some of us whimper along life's way. But somehow, as day always follows the night, Most of our troubles work out all right. Because we cannot forever smile, Because we must trudge in the dust awhile, Because we think that the way is long- Some of us whimper that life's all wrong. But somehow we live and our sky grows bright, And everything seems to work out all right. So bend to your trouble and meet your care, For the clouds must break, and the sky grow fair. Let the rain come down, as it must and will, But keep on working and hoping still. For in spite of the grumblers who stand about, Somehow, it seems, all things work out.

Hi, The story is Im a carib student, planning on taking step 1 in december to start rotations fresh with the new year... Ive been reading many posts on this site as well as others, at times I gain confidence that I also will be able to overcome this seemingly unachievable feast of taking step 1 but my scores on qbank dont seem too promising right now... Im at the 50% mark cumulative on qbank, have done only 16% of my questions and am more than half way completed reviewing my disciplines for the first time...my score on qbank is scaring me...i feel that i should be studying in a different manner in order to be comprehending the stuff better...i feel sometime that the way i am studying is wasting time... I plan on completing kaplan lectures and notes and then rereviewing pathology and physiology while completing the qbank simultaneously before sitting for step 1 My two questions any tips on how to focus on whats necessary when studying...any suggestions on good exam taking strategies... thank you

dont worry sam,it happened to me also , when i started my Q bank my average was 52 % but now i m able to get 76% (my recent score in a block) i think i didnt know how to manage time in the begining of Q bank and i think i had some anxiety , now i m gaining confidence .....able to manage my time on the blocks,........i think going thro the explanation really helps , and as my friend(kingofke) adviced me ,i have started taking Q bank as a learning tool..........i think thats a good idea , and master ur first aid as everybody recommends and asses urself a month before the exam not now ......im sure we can do it .. .....all the best sam.........

hmm...well i hv noticed, tht 3-4 days back the ques on Q bank were ezier...i find them tougher now, do they keep changing the ques? plus when you do 2, 3 blocks there is a lot of repitition of topics.....n then suddenely with new blocks new topics come... what does this mean?? n one more thing , the topics tht r repeated again n again on q bank have a higher chance of coming on exam?

i think that topics that r repeated r very high yeild .............even i find some blocks to be very easy , some really tough...............it is a radom assortment done by the software ............i dont know how exactly it will be in the exam......................
