Is research worth to do even if you do not get published? Is it possible to get published in a short time span ie 1 month? I have seen that research is not counted unless you get it published.

Hi, bhagat,

Sorry to tell you the truth, but it is almost impossible to get a paper published in one month! In fact, the time for any journal to process a manuscript will usually take more than one month. If your paper was not published, it adds little to your CV.

it takes atleast an year to get the research work done and another 6 months to yesr to get it published.

and only if it is quality work it will get published.

it is acheivable but not easy.

thanks for your input guys, i may be able to get a research position for 1 or 2 months to fill in time. i already have usce, should i do the research ?or just take some time off for awhile. from what i understand research may help even if you are not published, in the sense that, it shows interest. do you guys agree? its almost impossible to get published in 1-2 months.
