I know its difficult to help someone when we ourself are in trouble. We are all preparing to get a good residency in United States and I beleive that we will get it. But I have one thing to tell you.
I beleive that you know about the earthquake that took place in Pakistan recently..With the help of the UN and the foreign government aid efforts the Pakistan government have enough rescue materials eg tents, foods etc needed for the rescue mission.
But the only problem they are facing is lack of Doctors. According to BBC, About 40000 people died. More then 200,000 are injured. More people will die because of the renal failure following crush injuries. Hence, I request all the forum members, to request their friends, colleagues, relatives etc who are from Pakistan or any other country especialy surgeon to volunteer in this noble work and help the people of Pakistan and Kashmir..

Help was offered by India to send doctors,the very day the quake occoured,and the help was offered from Indian doctors associations in Uk,but was refused.
lets hope atleast at this time of distress the pak government forgets all bitterrness b/w the two nations and get help to their populace,after all we are all human beings.

hello fellow indians.thank u on your kind thoughts on the disaster that occured in my country.well let me clarify something.when the earthquake happened a major residential building in the heart of the capital collapsed.it created a great panic and all the authorities focussed on it.at that time the telephone and electricity stations collapsed in kashmir and also most of the officials and doctors also lost thier lives.plus road network was down too along with bridges.as kashmir is a mountaineous area it was hard to approach it.it was on the second day that the extent of the damage was assessed by helicopters and at that time president musharraf did ask the indian pm to help out.and even today trains full of relief goods and soldiers are arriving from india.the indian pm also responded in a positive way.so lets just say the days of enemity and conflict are far over.i just hope this feeling prevails.

see the problem is that Indian wanted to send thier troops on our dearest homeland.........which we dont need as we have enough man power ALHAMADULILLAH.........we need tents,medicine,doctors n helicopters.......n help from any person and any country is welcomed in a POSITIVE way not that some1 can exploit us........

ssrpk, absolutely correct...................We should all work together
in protecting Human Race rather then trying to destroy each
other...................
I beleive, it has been proven through Mitochondrial Chromosomes studies
that we have all originated from a single mother somewhere in
Africa.................So there is no reason to fight.
