research is not done in a day or a week, it'll take months to years...it needs a lot of planning and arranging for funding source....it can be done at most hospitals here...but depends on your subject of focus and your research protocol....highest rating/weightage is for original research in the form of a randomized controlled trial, then followed by case series, then case reports, then reviews etc....ask your professors, they might have an ongoing project in which u might involve yourself... all the best...

i think i will most likely have ample time if i dont get post matched which anyways is a remote possibility.. so was thinkin to do some research work in 2006 so that the cv doesnt have a gap... i am afraid if my professors r gonna be able to help me cause the institute where i studied is not that academic oriented.... but anyways thanx..
