is an ankle length skirt considere less proffessional than knee lenght skirt? would it be better to wear trousers than to wear long skirts? (like for people who dont want to wear the short skirts)?

i think trousers are best thing if u are not comfortable in skirts. better appear confident in pant suit than consciuos and uncomfortable in skirt suit.... .and its winter

Any lenght skirt is fine - just no more than 2 inches above the knee.
It's going to depend on your comfort level. If you like skirts, wear them!
