Hi,

Can anyone tell me what kind of score I need to get to be competitive for a family medicine or internal medicine residency at the UCLA medical center or the UCI medical center? I have just spent two hours trying to find what the score range was for the current residents there with absolutely no luck.

I am a second year, and I am trying to figure out what to aim for on the Step I. I would really like to go to Southern California. Any information you could provide on this matter would be helpful ie. what scores are considered competitive etc.

Thanks so much.

You can't find specific requirement about usmle scores.Residency programs do not go with that informations publically but they will look your score when making selection who will they call for an interview
I guess that competitive scores would be 90+ but don't think about that .Just try to do the best you can.
