Serious study group for immunology, 3 days a week -- Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, 9:30 pm mountain time USA (Texas , El Paso) for 1 hour . after u send me ur emails I could send u time zone adjustment email to match ur time with the group.
Reference : Kaplan lecture notes
Duration : from 16 oct to 30 oct( 2 weeks )
Study chapter for each day is based on related subjects so as after each day meaningful understanding of the basic important subjects of immunology could be expected .
Sunday 16oct chapters1&2)Innate & acquired Immunity
Tues 18 oct chapters 3&4 )Igs &TcR , Igs &TcR Genetics
Thurs 20 oct chapters 5&6 ) Ag&Immunogens , MHC
Sunday 23 oct chapters 7&8)LYMPH syst ,Immune Response
Tues 25 oct chapters 9&10 ) Tcell subsets& ILs, Cell med Imm. , complement
Thurs 27 oct Immunopathology: Chapter 12&13&14 ,hypersensi.,Immunodef.,Autoimm

Thanks for ur email.
we need to read important subjects in immunology from a reference book , and Lecture note kaplan is suggested by every body. A study group would make us to read the chapters and my main intention is to make summary notes in my book that I could review them for ex before exam or during our discussions . Actually my main study way is q based I do qs then read the answers and compare with books, write the notes that is not in the books in them . But it has been proved this is not enough and u need to have chapter to chapter study through lecture notes of kaplan or any book u are comfortable with . The first plan is to start from subjects that seem more difficult . We read those chapters for the discussion day and review our understandings and notes with each other.
Any suggestion for making the study group more beneficial for all of us is really appreciated.I intend to follow this group until I feel that it might not be helpful for us to be encouraged for studying , But I feel that its benefit is more than its harm especially becas it is just 3 days a week and we could have our own studies at the same time .
PLs if u want to attend in our group tell me what state of USA or which country u are so as I could send u the time zone adjustment email.

PS- I was planning if we could have test review group too and review NBME qs as they do not give u the answers and trying to find the answers are very hard, sometimes there is no answer and needs discussion with each other, and knowing the points of view of the other persons helps in solving problems most 0f the time
