I posted my problem already once. But nobody has given me their openion. I am sure that at least some of you may be having simillar problem. What I mean is about people getting into extership and observership after the completion of the application process. As you know. we cannot change our profile once the application is submitted to the eras. How are you people planning to use it to improve your interview chances? If anybody is in simillar situation, please tell me. If anybody have any solutions or ideas. please share it with me. I am badly in need of them. Thank you very much. Looking forward for your replies.

I really dont know this for sure but if u can get LORs from this externship u can always send it to ecfmg to upload. now if u have already assigned the maximum number of Lors (4) to programs then I'm not sure if u can assign more LORs . if u have assigned less than 4 lors to a prog u might be able to add upto 4. hope that makes sense. if I am wrong plz somebody correct me. BBB???

I applied in the last week of Sept since I was looking for an observership. I emailed most programs about other credentials (GPA, SPEAK scores etc) hoping they would consider it or add it to a file (if they had one). You might consider calling the programs and telling them that now you have clinical experience and ask them how they'd make a note of it.
Have you tried calling ECFMG and ERAS? Let us know if you get to know something... About LORs... I'm not really sure.. I've heard other people say you can always update LORs (so maybe you can assign more than 4). I'm not really sure. This again, you should check with ECFMG and ERAS.
I hope this helps some.....

Dr Mamu... I just read on ADTS help that it is possible to de-assign and then reassign new LORs.

I hope that helps.
