my step1 score is only 204/82...can i still get into a residency program with a step 1 score like this?

u can dont worry. try to get a gr8 score like 96+ in step 2.

no one cares about step 2. everyone knows step 2 is easy.
US grads spend 1 month studying for step 1, 2 weeks for step 2, and 2 days for step 3.
Many IMGs score high on step 2, because they spend months studying for it...while in the US, we have to do our clinical rotations and study at the same time. program directors know this, and this is why most IMGs are required to have high scores to even be given a chance for a residency.
