Is this the IM forum? It seems no one else is applying to anything else. Anyways has anyone got any invites for interviews. Please put ur score, etc. Here is mine:
Step 1 85
step 2 gonna take in a month
2004 grad (the date on diploma)
some us experience but no formal USCE
about 5-6 rejections and one neutral "we got ur app" reply. no invites yet. a lot of my friends applying into IM got invites already got a few invites. i applied to 125 programs. i heard pscyh is slightly more competetive these days. has any1 got any psych interviews yet??????

hi iam applying for psyc programs today.iam scared if iam too late to apply.iam ecfmg certified and 89 on both steps.

apply ASAP. atleast u have both of your scores. i recommend applying to as many as possible. I applied to 125 programs out of about 170. check out my link to get a list of programs. some of the programs i applied to have rejected me since i dont have usce. also remember u dont have to turn in all ur documents at once. post ur CAF and CV portions now as it is still morning. then apply to all the programs and then add the other documents.

well i just postponed my step 2 ck till probably jan 15th. i dont know what to do. 100 should be enuff for psych as there r about 175 total.

i got 310 adn then 320 on the nbme. i am getting a 54% on uw only half done. if i flunk step 2 it will be a bigger probelm then postponing it.

Sga430. I get it. But dont worry, Im sure youll do ok. I took mine with 58% UW but I had a 81 on the real test!. But when I nad half done of UW I think I was around 50%.

well it doesnt matter if i get 99 on it. i will have the problem of turning in my score late. i have not found one answer yet to my question. someone told me no one will rank me since my score will be coming out 1st week of feb. is this true??????

I have no idea about that, I wish I could help you on it. But this is what I recomend to you, I know its going to be hard, but, its just a sugestion. Dont think about it now, you are just take away energy for studying from youre self. Are you going to take your test before Jan??, if the answer is no, theres nothing you can do about it, just study, and after the test, worry about the match. Dont worry, Im sure you will do great, and if by any reason you dont get in to the residency this year, there are other options, and its only one more year, in which you would be able to take step 3 and that will open a lot of new doors. But anyway, Im sure you will work it out and lets just hope you get in to the residency this year!!!, (but you have to hope for me to get in as well)

thanks. i just realized i was mistaken. prometric is what is closed. usmle is not what closes. my friend got her results jan 7. so i will try and take it by dec end.
