Let me introduce myself. I'm currently 18 years old, 6'2 at a 170 pounds. I enjoy white wine, white chocolate, and long strolls on the beach. 
This is my first year at Memorial University here over in Newfoundland, Canada (aka the rock) where i will be declaring my major in biochemistry this coming september. I am EXTREMLY excited about this, especially after browsing through these forums.
I'm interested in a "community" such as this forum so i know where to look for advice/help when it's needed (and of course to help everyone as much as I can!). Also, I'm eager to be one step ahead of my major, which is why im posting now. If anyone has any recommendations, advice, books to get to know or anything else please don't hesitate to tell me!

I think this forum is excellent. There will be always someone who knows something that you don't know, so he or she can help you. And if you know something to help to someone else, you also try to share it. And, of course, many brains are more clever than just one.
