when high doses of cytarabin are used with interferone alpha,the major combined side effect is

#1.vomiting

CYTARABINE- ANTICANCER drug-- MYELOSUPRESSION & GIT irritation

INTERFERON-- ANTIVIRAL drug (IT HAS DOSE LIMITING NEUTROPENIA)

Correct!

Gancyclovir is given for CMV prophylaxis in AIDS pt. and it`s Myelosupression is additive when used with NRTI especially AZT.
