I'm an IMG, I had step 1 in June, & step 2CK in Sep.2005 with a very successful results, I planned to take my step 2CS, on Sep, 22 for that I had an iterview for the visa & was refused, I insisted to get another interview, but this time I could be enrolled in a course in Kaplan step 3 , I thought it will make my visa easier, as F1, but unfortunately I was again rejected. I don't want to lose my chance to enter the match this year, & I'm postponing my dates for CS exam, hoping that one day I will do it, I really will appreciate any advice about how I can do my exam & get the visa. I really need it

Rather than applying again, I think you can appeal the decision to find out why you were refused. then you can address the concern. CGR

Thanx alot for all who replied.concerning the GRE, I think it won't help either, becoz I have already been refused on student Visa (F1), regarding why I've been refused, everytime they tell me that I'm still young to get the visa, I'm 24 & female, so they answer that"m not going to be back to my countryhome, I think I need a miracle,

I had a similar situation in 2004 when I applied for Step 2 CS visa in Islamabad. At that time, i was very frustrated after rejections x4. I later gave PLAB and came to UK. I just applied for CS Visa on 7th July in London and got a five year multiple. The interviewer asked me that how my application was different than the one in 2004. I said, that this time I had a job in UK, which I am going to resume back after taking CS Exam. To support this, I took a letter from my medical staffing confirming that I am coming back on 24th July for my job. Also i requested Visa for 5 days only and had a personal bank statement showing enough funds. Also, I know quite a lot of ppl getting visas now. All you have to show is strong ties to ur country of residence. Also, one piece of advice, on your form and in the interview, say you want visa for 3-4 days, because even they know that the exam is for one day. I am not sure, but thats how I feel, because the counseller in embassy also asked me that why were you going for 6 months to US in 2004?
