Can anybody please help me with this???
1.How to explain Genital examination or pelvic exam. ,P/R,P/V,angiogram to sps ?Or do they know these terms.
2.If a sp c/o depression says i am worried about my son who is gay and i think he has hiv because of that - what should be ur response?

Genital / Pelvic Examination:

Angiogram: Pictures of the heart vessels after injecting some dye through your groin.
2. You can ask the patient to encourage his son to see you or another doc, and maybe after talking to his son if you feel like that there is a need for HIV testing, you would advice the son to undergo the testing. Also counselling that being gay doesnot mean he has HIV (what if he has one partner and uses condoms everytime??)
