Finally it's over.  The exam is similar to the form of USMLE CD, less picky than UW. Some Qs are very easy, some are very difficult so I just made my best guess. It tested most key concepts I think, with majority of Qs from internal medicine. After spending 9 hours in prometrics, I felt so happy for just finishing it.
I studied for 4 months part time. The major distraction was preparing for match application. Watched kaplan center prep videos once, read kaplan notes once. During the last few days did read kaplan internal medicine notes for second time, but no time to read other subjects for second time. Felt horrible since I saw most people read notes three times!! Anyway on the last day I read part of crush the step 2 for subjects other than IM.
Did kaplan Qbank, cumulative 76% (finished 79% of the Qs). Did all UW Qs, cumulative 70% (didn't have time to read the explanation of the last 400 Qs). Didn't do Qbook. Did NBME form 1 one month before and got 670.
Will take CS in one month so I don't feel that much relieved yet. Plus I must now really spend time on the application. Good luck everyone!!

wombat you're making me feel so much better. My exam is next thursday and i don't think i'll be able to do a second read or not. The application sucks so much time and energy and morale out. i havent studied in the past 3 days because i'm so tense all the time. i also have 70% in usw, and will take nbme this weekend. I read surgery and peds and obgyne only once a long time ago. plus trying to finish my second read of internal medicine, should i just flip through the kaplan books for the other subjects to attemp a second "revise"? my cs in on the 31st because at this point i just want to get it over with. Nice to see you're almost done, i remember you from the step 1 forum! GOOD LUCK with the score and the match
I'm just happy to see someone else took the exam without reading the books over and over again. Making me feel less suicidal!

Sorry for the late reply. I left for CS kaplan course after my CK and just returned home. Well good luck to you for ck!!
