still stuck doing the kap qbank. finished 70% of it and today is the last date... . hope they will give an extension or else will have to rely totally on usw....

Voila!!!! got an extension of a week and so now have all the time in the world .
Always slow but never late!!! When will this world teach me a lesson????????? Hope not on my test though.......
did 20 Q's only today.... will make it up tomorrow... a target of 200 q's....

good yu got the extension...now yu can finish your stuff and also get to do your revision.
as for me, i finished with reading half of ID notes and now i am going to finish some questions from uw before i go to sleep.
and you got a mountain to climb tomm...step it up buddy.

finished inf dz. and now onto opthalmology...will finish it in a few hrs and then move on to ENT. must get it done today and finish reading some step 3 cases as well( for my mccqe1)...and then i must go on to psychiatry from tomm morning.
hows your preparation drkpp ?

still stuck with the kaplan qbank. Another 400 q's to go. Its freaking taking a long time to go thro the damn explanations.... Hope eventually it will help....
Have postponed the exam to the 19th of may since no other slot is available till then, but still have the 12th of may in my mind as a preferred date..
From 15th gonna start working like a donkey, yes you heard that right, like a gaddhedu.

awesome man, and anyways i have heard that ppl preparing for that canada exam if i am right do get a added advantage on the boards cause the mcqqqeeeeeee is supose to be much tougher....

i cant say that the mccee is much tougher than the usmle but yes the questions test you differently and are pretty much at the same level. but the mccqe1, for which i am going to appear in may is definitely very very tough. thats what everyone has been telling me and i just hope i get thru with that exam too.
and i am not sure if a pass on the canadian boards will be an added advantage. dont know much about that (pls enlighten me on this one if you know anything).
i finished with opthalmology and now onto ENT. reading these explanations takes ages man. i feel like i am really going slow. not good !! i should be done with ENT by night today and from tomm its psychiatry for sure.

5 days to go for the mccqe1 and my preparation for the usmle is not happening the ideal way...but i guess i need to do this for the mccqe1 also...maybe i'll extend the exam by 20 days or so...not good !!!

we are almost there. I have postponed my exam to the 25th. Prep is going slow on my side too but eventually we will make it.

Have started with usw from today. Gonna do 100 q's a day. This is a second time though and hope to getatleast a 70 + this time.
Was hoping that will also go through usmlerx.com but it seems step2ck qbank is not gonna be available for a while. Thus gonna stick to usw.
Also reading B&W. Will take nbme2 by the end of this week.....

aimhigh, stop pulling my leg buddy. Thats 3 hrs in all, an hr for solving the q's and then 2 hrs for the explanations!!!!!!!!!!
I am ready for the hard work and hopefully will get a good score on the nbme which i am to take shortly..... will boost my confidence way to the top......

good to see yu guys doing good.
i finsihed with my mccqe1 yesterday and to say that it was very tough and tiring will be an understatement. the questions give you very few clues to come to the answer and also the time was very less. 196 questions in 210 mins. and then a clinical part in which they ask questions like in step 3. this exam was tough. anyways its over and now i can totally concentrate on usmle. good to be back with usmle.
got to get my act straightened out right away and get going.

started with hematology today. must finish it tomm and start with gynaec(another reading as i feel i am really weak in gynaec especially the tumours).
i had a couple of games of tennis today with my wife and man is my arm hurting now !! but must read for another hour before i hit the bed.

Great going achilles!!!!, I am sure you gave the exam your best shot and that is important. The result will follow.....
Could do only 1 block of usw...... and did 50 q's from B&W quesions.
Will have to study real hard tomorrow cause if i do that then i ll reward myself by watching F1 in the evening!!!!!! ( way to go schumi)
