. took the usmle cd test yesyerda the first two blocks got a 39/41. i really wonder if i am ready for it. but as someone told me aim for a 90 and anything more then that doesnt make much of a difference... its not only the score that counts inthe end so starting the day on that note: finish obg todaya nd one block of usw...

first of all, i thought only the indian communiication companies give customers a hard time but today realised its the same in U.S. tooo.... was not able to connect at all today and even now am able to on and off...oooooph.... am just so addicted to this forum cant saty a day without posting well havent done any usw q's today but the good thing is read for 2 hrs obg notes finally alenka and arj, i dont think its really that gr8 a score if u compare t to the correlations with the other guys on this forum... i have a 520 on the nbme form 1.. even thats not all that gr8... so finally one thing is decided and that is that no more thinkin abou a 95+. just gonna study hard for next 20 days and give it my best shot.... happy studin ppl...

Wishing you all the best. Have faith in allmighty. Read Hanuman Chalisa daily. It helps in relieving undue anxiety.

17 days to go...... feelin as if sitting on a burner . But atleast content now that in the last couple of tests in usw did not get any q's wrong that was answered correctly by more then 65% of ppl. so thats good news- not makin any silly mistakes. the downside : still to read peds notes once and all the rest of the notes a second time....

still a few more blocks to go in usw!!!!! gonna burnout myself till the 20th when will take nbme form2 and decide on the fate of my step2ck..... today: yesterdays explanations. followed by a block of usw and its explanations. planning to get this much done by 6 pm(its already 2 and still need to have lunccchhh)... in the evening read 50 pgs peds..... if time permits follow it up with another set of usw questions. if i cld finish todays scheduled portion, it will be the best study day of my prep for step2!!!!!!

as usual couldnt finish yesterdays assigned work. but today is a new day.. so gonna work doubly hard...... have nbme form2 in 4 days. its gonna be the deciding factor whether 2006 match or 2007 although i must admit that i am getting tempted to apply only for 2007 and try get a good programme but still the hopes are alive.....

sorry for being away for a while. took a day off deciding whether to take it or not. didnt meet expectations on the form2- a 520 again. have dropped plans for ck for the time being. gonna conc. on cs which is on the 19th and will give ck once reach home at the end of nov. actually start prep for ck again once i reach home. give ck when i feel i am ready. may be feb. was upset yesterday but have got over it. what do i have to loose- a few hundred dollars thats it. better then loosing this golden opportunity which very few of my countrymen actually get. will go for the 2007 with all guns blazing and all scores ready including the step3 by september and hopefully some researchwork in hand!!!!!! and as far as ck is concerned- now its gonna be a 99 and nothn less will be acceptable!!!! note: thats what my dad told me. and i am not gonna let him down. goodluck to everyone who has been with me, supported me and encouraged me all this time.thanx will keep this thread alive and will be able to log on only once in a while since will be goin to NJ for cs prep...... ARJ, boards and wards is awesome. i really liked it and i wish i had started it earler. start reading it side by side with kap. notes

hey dude..don't worry ...my grandma always says:Listen to what your heart desires, it knows best...personally though i think you would have scored pretty good even if you took it in another 2 weeks or so..but the final decision has to be yours. Good luck with everything!

thanx for yr support. i am sure a 90 correlation of nbme wld have proved to be true, but since i am aiming for a h1b and have to leave the states by the end of nov. i wld have not been able to anyways give step3 nor attend interviews.... so thats the reason i thought and i know i can put in more effort into this exam.. when i was to appear for step1 i had reached a saturation as far as the prep goes and was actually desparate to give the exam. This time around i think i have not reached that state. but i will in the following months. ARJ, sure will call u once in india, probably in the first week of dec. Alenka, from the first week of dec. will be totally dedicating a couple of months to ck prep. As far as i remember u have yr ck in feb too. so maybe we can ride the rough tides together!!!!! Nisha, goodluck with yr exams and do keep us posted with how things turn out. and step3 if u planning to take anytime after march sure will be with you... going to take the kaplan cs 5 days course in NJ. but havent still got a confirmation from them. seems all seats are booked. a piece of advice- if any of u ppl palnning to take the course plan it well and book a couple of months on advance.. have been going around in boston for the last couple of days. its fall time and the trees all around the place are changing colours. it looks just awesome..

We will miss you drkpp......................... One more suggestion why you dont get married??????? It will solve most of your problems. I think there is no harm in getting a wife............Thing is that you have to search for a good one....This was as commented by my Proffesor Dr Oscar " A Gujju girl is the most beutifull in the world" I think you would be able to find one...................... It is our general opinion that when one get marries to a NRI then one have to live a submissive life. I don't think so...........Ego should not come in the way...............Marriage is give and take. Well all depends on the ones priority in life....................................................................... Take Care
