hi bbb
i have always wondered whats its like to be in a pcs shoes.. wud u be kind enuf to elaborate ur "normal match season" day with us??
like do u have paper files with printouts on the applicants details? or is it all on the comps? and do u screen the applis to forward to the pd? like i might have updated my score or other details and u get them from the postoffice - do u process it immediately to my file?? also are applications continously reviewed? for i have applied on 1 score.. now once my second score goes in will it be reviewed again or the application once reviewed is out? and lots of programs havent sent acceptance letters, rejection letters or plain old we have got ur appli letters - what does it mean? like do they all send 1 sooner or later or do u have to call them up in dec to find out that ur appli was rejected from day1...
i know these are lots of questions - but then im sure u have an interesting job

Gods!! Even my husband doesn't want to know this much about my day. The dogs do, but they don't have a choice. Just scratch their tummies and life is good.
like do u have paper files with printouts on the applicants details? or is it all on the comps? It's all on the computer until the day before someone comes to interview. That way when it's printed, everything will be in their file - all the updates, etc.
and do u screen the applis to forward to the pd? I have some basic screening that I do. But the majority of the applications are reviewed by the program director.

This one is impossible to answer because every program is going to do something different. There is no rule or guidelines from ERAS, and program coordinators do what they feel comfortable with.
