hello. i have been visiting this forum visiting this forum for few days now and i have seen people as i'm sure have too who have had to take the step 2 to 3 times before they passed. i agree that you have had a huge loss to deal with but you also have a husband who is supportive and you have been a good student in the past. DON'T give up!!!!. you can do it have faith in your self and God and pick up those books and say to your self that you can do it!!! many people have passed this exam before you so it is doable. nothing is impossible even the word impossible says i'm possible... may i ask you where you went to med school?. hope this helps.....
