Hi
Im very disappointed with myself. I've checked the OASIS and i've failed. I dont know where im missing. I had NBME 640, USMLE CD 42,43,44, Kaplan 75%, Kaplan simulated 78% Please can anybody hepl me what should i do. I really dont know where should i start again. Ive used Kaplan videos, notes, Goljan, and some BRS books. Any idea what can i change to improve my score???? Thank you very much. I feel soooooooooo down.

Have you followed the "Oasis Trick" steps carefully? Have you checked first if your test date and score dates are shown on ECFMG? If these dates have not been entered, the Oasis Trick does not work.
I hope this is the situation and you wilol get your PASS score soon in the mail. Good Luck.

I totally agree with eturan, I think u checked it to quick, wait for them to tell u that ur score has been reported. I really doubt u failed, there is no way. Ur scores are just to amazing. I think u need to wait off a bit. Trust me u passed. Best of luck.

Hey USM....I feel the same way. I also checked OASIS and it allows me to register. I do not know what to do either. I got 79% q-bank and 560 and 610 on NBME.
I hope what everyone says is true. You have to wait for the score to be reported. When did you take your exam anyways?

I took it the 9th of Sept. and am still awaiting for the score to be posted. Needless to say I am very anxious because the darn system lets me register. However, to offer some solace, the same thing happened to me when i took step 2 ck.
It would let me register, but I tried it 3 weeks after my exam. It's now been 4 weeks since my step I and it lets me register. A little more worried this time

If you take the exam on Mon, Tue, Wed, OASIS will be updated on the 3rd Thur at 0:00 am US CST (Wed 12.00 pm CST), if you take the exam on Thur, Friday, OASIS will be updated on the 4th Thur at 0:00 am.

Hi everybody
I got the score today 248/99 .OASIS was missing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would like to say thank you to everybody. If anybody is interested in my experiances here they are: I prepared for about 14 months but i studied more the english language becouse I didnt know a single english word a year ago. I used Kaplan 3 readings, Goljan 3 readings, BRS Pathology. The test was wery similar to NBME. I had the same time on the end of each block. I marked the same number of question. I got almost the same score[nbme 640=247]. I was not so difficult as i expected. It is really doable. I missed some questions just becouse i didnt understand to them. I didnt use 25 min of my break. Now i started to study english very hard. I scheduled for summer term for step2. My opinion of USMLE1 is that is not about what did you learned in the last couple weeks but about what did you do on collage for the last couple years. Dont give it up. Sorry for the mistakes in my english it takes some more time to get better it. Thanks again. Does anybody know what is the everage age of USMLE test takers??? Im 23 and im in last year of my medical collage. So it takes about 1 more year to finish Step2 CK,CS and apply for residency. Thank you

Excellent result usm. You were worried about failing in your first post and now look where you are now. That is a good effort my friend and keep learning english, you're doing excellent so far.
