what is the treatment of pelvic inflammotory disease in pregnancy. do we give doxycycline? is it not contraindicated in pregnancy?

Erythromycin salts other then estolate may be used in pregnancy to treat chlamydial infection or syphilis. Erythromycin estolate is contraindicated. Also can use azithro but with caution.

Also ceftriaxone can be use for gram negatives.
