hi guys, i gave my exam on the 22 of september 2005 thursday, today is sunday the 2 of octuber, that means its been 11 days since i took it, today i looked at the ecfmg and oasis website and my exam date ,nor the socre are reported, there is no information regarding my exam ,but i tried to do the oasis trick and it let me apply for step one again, im really confused and dont know whats going one, i mean only 11 days and on sunday, how could that be possible ? does anybody has any idea if they have changes in there system?

Oasis trick only works to stop you making new application AFTER your score has been reported in Oasis. (thats when they update their IWA server) as you gave it on thursaday it will probably be reported on 4th week.

Saria,
It is too early for you to either to expect your score or be able to use the Oasis trick short cut.
About 3-4 wednesdays ellaps before you can do the Oasis trick.
Read the Oasis trick carefully. You need to check the ECFMG web page whether the date you took the test is reported together with the score date. THIS IS VERY critical. If you do the Oasis trick prior the test and score dates are posted on the ECFMG webpage, you may be able get a new STEP 1 test date on the IWA tool and you will stress out yourself.
My wife and I learnt this rule the hardway. Good luck with your test result.

thanx alot guys , its not just stressfull seeing that i can apply agian, its freaky, i called and woke up all my friends asking what should i do, for 2 days i was out of my mind and thinking that i faild ,then i read some of the forms talking about the trick and how i should do it and when, truely i do it every day, i just cant handle the pressure of waiting, but i know by now that you can reapply even if your score is not reported yet so i guess that means nothing, on oasis there is still no info about my exam date or report date so im safe so far, thanx alot guy and good luck to all of us...

Have you checked the ECFMG site today for your test and score date updates? If you have the updates, you will be able to do the trick. Otherwise, you may have to wait another week.
