hello is there any one who took step 1 on september 27.I had a problem with the software and it took 10 minutes to rectify that and I continued the exam.Due to this break in my 2 block I could not organise my breaks and could not complete nearly 15 questions in my last block.i just went for random pickup and I am really upset by this.I did mail to ECFMG and the testing centre adviced me to call in a week's time.Any one there with a similar problem please respond.

hi
i took the exam on sep 29 and i had the same problem as u mentioned. i got my result already and i couln't pass the exam. this result is very unexpected for me because i did very well and i was sure that i will passed the exam. now i'm trying to cantact ECFMG. i like to know more about your results and what kind of responce you have recieved from ecfmg so far. hi kish,
iam sorry to hear abt what happened with u guys at the centre on the day of the exam. but i think so too, it is coz of the center fault, coz another of my friend gave her exam on sep26 and she had this problem too, and even she cud'nt get thru, it was surprising , coz her qbank scores were quite good. what are u doing abt it then ? pls let us know.

hi kish,
well my friend had said that she had contacted the ecfmg right the next day of her exam abt this issue, but they said everything is alright and don't worry abt it. my friend decided to take their opinion honestly. i guess what else she could do. anyway she is very depressed these days abt result, and find it hard to put herself to study for step1 again.

hi,
I did the exam on sept 30 and i have a problem with the software too, i was not able to retrieve my marked items by any means and every time it starts from 1-50, it lost my time but my fault that i didnt complaint to anybody, I scored 94 in NBME but just 83 in real exam bcoz i lost about 15-20 mins in retrieving my marked items but i couldnt succeed.

Man this is very serious problem, THIS IS NOT FAIR. Its our future, and they are palying with it, Do they know that people get how much depressed when they aren't able to get thru. I think we should all get together and take a serious action against them. I'm with you all.
Even some one who passed and get lower score and deserves more, and got the low score bcz of their fault!!! This is UNACCEPTABLE.
