when they talk about anaerobes. What they refer to Both Gram + and - or one of them. like for eg:
Imipenem/Cilastin is used for Gram + cocci, Gram - rods and anaerobes. DOC for Enterobacter.

it is not possible for a Bact not to be Gram +/- (except TB, Clamydia,etc.)

they usually try to underline the importance or most often difficulty of killing Anaerob G +/- s by classifying them as one seperate group, that's all
