A pt with acuta pacreatits, you find that he has common bile duct stones.
What is the next step?
-Observation or
-immediate ERCP?

  #2

ERCP should be considered if there is a stone in common bile duct

  #3

very controversial question some authorites recomnend immediate ERCP while other continue to tx pancreatits and ercp at the later stage and then followed by the cholecystectomy.

I would choose observation because ercp is dangerous in the first days of pancreatitis and should be avoided.

  #7

is the qs say on the first day, its simply ask what your next step.
and ercp in acute pancreatits in experts hand is not much dangerous
