A pt with acuta pacreatits, you find that he has common bile duct stones. What is the next step? -Observation or -immediate ERCP?

very controversial question some authorites recomnend immediate ERCP while other continue to tx pancreatits and ercp at the later stage and then followed by the cholecystectomy.

I would choose observation because ercp is dangerous in the first days of pancreatitis and should be avoided.

is the qs say on the first day, its simply ask what your next step. and ercp in acute pancreatits in experts hand is not much dangerous
