well hinestly speaking my experience is not that nice. I had done UW and the exam i got was about 20% harder and Kaplan wasnt even near, so if u need to practice UW is closer but still some ppl think exam is easier and i felt the other way. I had severe time issue during exam and i even missed 4 questions in one block, reason is simple the last 5 Questions i remember were so long that one had to scroll down to read the full length... so when in strated to random answer i missed the time... apart from that i was hard pressed in every block, no time for review and honestly its of no use. So if i scroll back i think about 10 Questions in total i messed because of time. What was tested? They test everything but SOB d/d was tested tooooo much from young lady to old lady to male child to old.... it made my breath go away at time. I got 4 per block psychi and those best responce things...Med was top tested but least tested was surgery and second was paed and gynae. In percentage it was 50 Med 20 paed 20 GO and 5 Psychi 2 Surg (direct) 3 Miscelleneous. Well now the only thing i know is its gone..and im not gona think about it and lose more hair then what i already have with all the stress of last couple of months....Exam is a subjective experience so do basics right and loads of prayers. Inshallah ull do fine. If u ask the best resource Kaplan is the most concise, lectures can help if u have time but aint a must, if u want an alternative resource then 1st Aid alone 4 times will do. well best of luck and do pray for me as i dont know what to expect in score so need a load of prayers. best of luck ali

ADVISE Do UW without doubt, if ur exam is tough u can still corellate, if its easy then ur in for a treat Do d/d of SOB, Pain Abd, STD, Prophylaxis for all sort of things (for 3 ages Young, Adult, Old both male and female) Do practice with Long Questions, i messed it up as u dont know when ull get looooooooong questions which can reck ur timings, i got stuck on Questions best bet is to move up , mark it and just click anything...if u have time only c that one...i hope u dont get time trouble as i had Dont miss preventive med It is no use seeing pics of derma etc as one rarely can recognise them unless tooo obvious. ECG aint an issue Trauma is imp but many a time questions r a bit vague Ull definetely get step1 Questions, they r difficult or easy its ur luck, no need to do step1 things Drug Reactions written in Kap or FA or Crush are enuf if u can remember that ...ull get thru In all Relax bfr exam ... i cant ...i panic easily.... so try anything which helps u calm down Take break with each n every block...take Glucose containing juices, fruits like dates which r rich in minerals n vitamins... and dont forget water and Paracetamol Extra. Break schedule is variable but imp thing is to take a break with each block. Well as far as study schedule i can only say when my score comes, i hope its a nice one...do pray for me and i wish ev1 the best of luck. this forum helps so thanks to prep4 bye

Hi aliakram, I had a similar experience and got 92. This in the context that I was exstatic only when I found out that I even passed when I did the Oasis trick. Try to get it out of your mind for now, although I know it's hard, and don't lose hope!

2 months no...3.5 months I did not do 4 reading at most i did 3 of kaplan stidy material. I used UW as Question source, did nearly 40% of kaplan Bank and 80% of Book. Book is better then bank. Only did Derma from FA. If you do FA and Kap and UW it will become tooo hectic. If you really want to kick the boards then do this combo what i did was i did read FA in my first go with my first read, and since then did Kap, Questions UW 1 month, crush Study Time line 1 Month Kaplan Study material and FA, Q Bank Kap n Book as much as i could do 1 Month UW and other question sources, wrote almost all difficult explinations nearly 2 register thin one were filled. 1 Month Kaplan re read with crush and Bank n Book as much as i could do 0.5 Month Kaplan re read with crush ONLY But eventually it all comes down to luck n purely luck So Best of luck. Advise for slow readers like me (though i only had time trouble with my step2 never in prep) do Kaplan Step3 Bank Timed Book version and time urself....it helps improve speed. some of my class fellows did that and wre preety succesful. best of luck
