am an IMG and needed some information about step 3. Does having a step 3 score prior to the interview, say in early november help with matching in a better university?or is it better to be slow n take time? Are the scores important or is it just a pass/fail result that really count(Do scores affect the chances of getting into a good fellowship?)

i dont much about score but as much as what my senior told me is for residency passing step 3 should be enough.it would be better if u take manual usmle transcript option in ur application for residency. In such case if u geta better score u can send ur transcript otherwise u cna say u passed step 3.i think step 3 scores matter in fellowship not sure though.....
did u give ur step 3?
