Hi everyone!!! I took my test in Philly on August 30 and passed!!!! So happy!!! Anyway just want to give you guys my two cents on how to pass this test. First of all, RELAX, don't get caught with the little things, remember common things are common. I think 3 weeks is enough time to prepare for this test and this is coming from someone who hasn't touched a patient in over 2 years. USMLE WORLD is excellent and use the cases from there. The key is to practice and even if you don't know what you are doing, look confident and pretend like you know. For example I had to examine a patient's knee and I basically didn't remember what I was testing with the manuevers. I am a fluent english speaker and have an american accent. I practiced a lot during the 3 weeks. During the exam itself, there will be one or two odd cases where you have no clear idea of what they have, but literally everything else is very straight foward. When I was praticing, I would always run out of time by a minute or two, but during the exam, I was out of the room in basically 1 or 2 minutes. So don't worry about the time factor that much. In Philly the set up is 5 cases, 30 minute Lunch, 4 cases, 15 minute break, 3 cases. I didn't encounter any crying or grumpy patients so I don't know about that. Lastly, get a good nights sleep, I was literally tossing and turning the night before the test. Don't do this, go to bed early and try to relax. Good luck yall
