hello, Can we switch fom a Family med residency to a Internal medicine residency after one year after internship i.e do the internship again in int med and apply for a PGY-1 spot in int med is it easy to switch and what are the common problems encountered thanks

You will still need to complete a full 3 year IM residency. The FP year is different from the IM year

Yes I understand that but what about the PD of mu family med. program won't he be mad at me for switching to IM ? is there a possibility I will get stuck in family med and never be able to switch to IM?

please help with application. I am very old IMG with greencard and post graduate degree from my country good lor, working 1month usce. but i have attempts in step1 and passed step2 and cs in first attempt. do i have to write all my attempts in the application? what if I write only the exams I passed. Because if i write my attempts, i may not get the calls. please help what i should do?

Of course the PD of FM is going to be upset with a resident changing programs - but he will still write you a letter.
