Hi guys,

I don't have many posts but I read this forum a lot and it helped me greatly. I just gave my CS in Atlanta. I was very nervous before the exam, but as the encounters started, I felt better. My patients were all nice, and I have only cases from USMLEWORLD. So, if you read those well and ask LIQORAAA and PaM HUGS FOSS, I think you're fine. I took all my time to interogate the SP, did a very quick PE (almost in all cases focused only on the organ that the CC was refering to - I don't know if that's a good approach, but I wanted to have time at the end to talk with the SP, not rush out). Also, I was very thorough in answering any question, didn't rush. At the end, I gave the SP 3 diff. diagnosis almost every time, counsel some of them, explain the tests that we were gonna run on them, ask about any Q's (I think I did this for all SP's) and say goodbye. I washed my hands in all cases, draped them (I forgot this for one pat. towards the end), explained everything I did in PE. Almost in every case I finished earlier. The patient note is not hard to write but it's important that you take notes when you talk with the SP, otherwise you forget what he told you. I just wrote short words or abbreviations cause you also need to maintain good eye contact. Of course I forgot many things, for example I forgot to tell some pat. that we're gonna do rectal exams or pelvic exams. Also my PE's were very short. But I hope everything will turn out fine.

I will post my result as soon as I have it. Wish me luck.
