Hey man, continue reading questions, I have a friend that took the exam several times and did not pass he said I read a lot of information. now he took againd the test and he PASS, he told me do not read a lot of material only questions, I sincerely recommend appleton and lange's, is there and otherone very good exammaster but you need more than a month. what else are you reading related to questions? remember one month is a lot if you study, BUT only read questions no matter if you fail, just learned from that question.

Hope this helps: I just posted a message saying that what you get in q-bank, add 15-20 points and that will be your score. This appear to apply also for the Kaplan step 1 simulated exam, but not for Step 2. I took the simulated exam also 1 month before the test and got 20 points more on the actual test. This also applied to all my friends. We all studied using the same resourcess, that is: KAPLAN ONLY. 62% is a good average score, you can be sure you will pass the test, but if you want to ace, you should practice doing more questions......doing as many questions as you can is the key to ace this test. I believe q-bank and q-book are great resources. The best for pathology is the Pathology review from Robins...it is a 1,100 USMLE style questions...they are GREAT!!!! I recomend it to all my friends. Good luck and e-mail me if you have further questions Daniel S schwed@earthlink.net
