hey guys..I have the First Aid 2003, is it really necessary for me to buy the First Aid 2005, or 2006. Will the 2003 be sufficient enough with all the good information?? I want to get in the 90s on USMLE so please someone advise me or anyone that took USMLE and did first aid 2003 and it was good! I would really appreciate it! so reply soon please!!

I was reading from First Aid 2003 edition but later on I bought 2005 edition. The changes are small. There is addition of some pictures and a few drugs. If u have Kaplan notes you will find those pictures and material in there. Only in FA there is a review section in the end, may be you'll need it for quick review. Otherwise there is no big difference.Read from Kaplan you will be fine.

2005 edition is better but you can copy the additional materials from your friends like list of HLA associations etc

FA is updated yearly by feedback of test takers....so i recommend using the most updated one
