kawasaki Disease: 5 imp.characters to remember
1. Fever persisting > 5days.
2. Bilateral Conjunctival Congestion (non-purulent)
3. Erythema (lips, tongue, buccalmucosa) (palms & soles)
4. Coronary Dilatation
5. Cervical Lymphadenopathy

Diagnosis = CRASH & BURN
Fever (burn) for > 5 days and four or five of the following
1. Conjunctivitis (bilateral, non purulent)
2. Rash ( truncal, non-specific)
3. Adenopathy (at least 1 cervical node > 1 cm)
4. Strawberry tongue (or any change in oropharyngeal mucosa)
5. Hand, feet swelling/desquamation.

Good shot my friend phuluong, but in both crash n burns u dont need DD. they r directly dxd
well here is the list of DD fr kawasaki wher itz difficult to make exact dx
Measles
Scarlet fever
toxic shock syndrome
Steven's Johnson syndrome
Drug reaction, febrile viral exanthems, rocky mountain spotted fever, Stahpy. scald. skin synd. ,, juvenile rheum. arthitis, letptospirosis , mercury poisoning.
Anywez thz gr8 that u gave a TRY atleast. itz not often asked Q, but still u will find it in USMLE.
