can someone pls be kind enough to list only the books which r needed to score good in step-1.
pls write the full name and if possible writer or publisher!

here is the list of books from which im preparing

1)kaplan notes for all the subjects.

2)high yeild for anatomy

3)first aid

4)goljan audio and goljan notes patho

My list is same as Aonty's except for Pathology Im using BRS + Goljan audios and lecture notes and Kaplan for Anatomy

aonty has given u the ideal list to prepare from.However u should add q bank and board simulator series.These are books just composed of questions and by attempting them ull realize wat da examz want to extract from u.

well, i am actually new this site and can u let me know:-1
1.is the kaplan notes available in boks stores?
2.high yield anatomy-books stores?
3.Goljan audio and notes, whts the full name?
3.BRS? whts that,,shortform of?

actually i am in Riyad,Saudi Arabia and hoping to appear next year!

well pal all the books r available in the market y dont u ask the book seller from where u got ur medical books i got my kaplan from there other wise u can order online from amazon.com

goljan audios u can download from coolgoose u hav to sign up an account after signing in click the music icon n in the artist box write goljan u will hav all the lectures download them n enjoy

brs is the short form of board review series tat also is available from ur book seller

actually i am dwnlaodin the goljan lectures!
any other sites of much interests,like for Pathology,etc!

i have also dwnloaded stuff frm this forum.
actually it will take me sometime to collect all the stuff!

as for now i have this old 2000 ed of First Aid for Step-1,,so just goin thro it!

is board simultor series different form BRS?

yes they are totally different!brs is a text review book whereas board simulator series is a set of 5 books which is composed of only mcqs along with their explanations.its really useful so u should definitely buy them.good luck

well pal saimah has been of great help to every one in the forum n who ever listens to her scores in the high 90s so u better buckle up n do as she tells u if u want to score in the high 90s
