when will imgs understand that: asking scores is considered RUDE in this country !esp the indian ings who are so used to numbers. GROW UP !!!! there is a lot more in an application than the scores.

and when will you understand that for IMGs scores are probably more important than they are for AMGs in order to secure residency.its their citizenship that obviously and rightly makes their path easier than ours. i dont know if you are an IMG or AMG but the fact is that anonymity is the reason why we use forums.its not rude to be coolbabe and ask arpit for his scores.it will be rude when you are standing in front of me and i ask you for the scores. so there ,i think that settles it . let everyone give more info about themselves when they are either rejected or accepted so it gives others an idea about the process. after all we all want to go thru the match only once. good luck to all and long live this forum

please everyone were are here to help one another. Not to make each others life harder. Please just post as you desire, no body has to do anthing they don't want to do . please if you could just post which hospitals gave you intervews and rejections. the name of the hospitals. really nowadays score is not everthing even if you are img because personality counts. thanks good luck to all of you.

Hi to everybody! It is pretty depressing what I see in this forum - so many people with excellent scores and LoRs get rejections. I really do not understand how objective the programms' criterias are. Is there someone applying for Ob/Gyn residency only? I need to share experience and emotions I am still "pending" ( still wating for CK score, still waiting for ERAS to scan my documents, still trying to figure out how to chose programms...). Often there is a difference between the requirements on their web site , if there are any , and what they say on the phone. How you gays make a decision which program to apply. From waht I saw, you should not have any pretentions.Or maybe I have to change the question to " How you eliminate the programms from your list?" I will appreciate any info. Good luck to everyone - we deserve it ! My email address is danisunsilk@yahoo.com Any way, I promise to keep you informed about my rejections when they will start comming

Hi, coolbale 76, Do you already have all your scores ready? Do you know what actually is this "pleliminary year", particularly in Ob/Gyn? Is it an Internal medicine or what...? Are you an FMG or an AMG? How many programs did you apply for . I am thinking of about 50 .My problem is that I still don't know if I have passed the CK. If you are accepted for FM, are you going to apply for Ob/Gyn again next year? ( of course I hope you will succeed now...) Thank you for the response?

ok to answer one by one... i have to recieve my step 2 ck result still.....given exam on 2 sept with fred ,hence the delay... i am not sure if we have prelim year in ob gyn ...i could only see the option of categorical in most.. i think prelim positions are more in int med and g surg i am an IMG i have applied for 37 programs if i like FP too much then i might just continue ....maybe i will try for ob .....i dont know./...but i sure am getting into one of these two this year i hope that answers your queries...... good luck
