DEAR FRIENDS,
can we start a thread which states our usmle scores and places applied to and rejections and interview calls.
will help people applying to these programmes next year and this year as well.
ok mine first 1-90,2-97, applied to 50 programmes,1 call so far from masachusettes,and one rejection from baylor,texas, rest still awaiting reply.
do please put in your exp,hey by the way the threa started by zaki is excellent do put in your info in that thread sorry zaki didn't see your thread before.

Got interview from case western reserve(metrohealth) today,so totally 3 interviews and 4 rejections. and two neutral.

I have scores of 95 and 93, ECFMG certified. Applied to 30 programs 2 days ago. One interview from NY (one that "everybody" gets)... no rejections yet.

so far 5 interviews  (2 UNI and 4 COMM AFFIL) 1 rejection (DRExEL),,,,
waiting for more calls......

well it will be nice to name the program as well which have invited you and as well which have rejected you to be more informative.
calls from, interfaith, cook county, st fransis evaston.
rejection from drexel and henry ford.
cred: 99/99/certified/step3 oct ?3 month usce, one us lor and other very good lors from my home country, 2 yr of residency experince in my home country.

guys call the programs and ask for why u were rejected, one of them some secretary was rejecting peole, and I called and explained that I did meet the reason they rejected me, so theyre supposed to consider my application again next week although god knows, maybe shell put a note of what a pushy guy...

step 1-90
step 2-85
2mnths usce
2LOR from Yale, 3rd is also US. Need visa. Doing research at U Maryland.
So far 2 interviews and 13 rejections out of 43 IM categorical.
where did I go wrong?

Im new to this forum , an IMG just finishing up with my PhD and applying for Internal medicine residencies-
Got rejections from UMDNJ, Drexel, Albert Einstein (montefiore), Dartmouth (why did I even apply there?) and Pennsylvania hospital.
Interveiws from: Albert Einstein at Long Island Jewish center
UPMC shadyside program.

Guys!! Im seeing a lot of excellent candidates getting very tense!!! Please relax..you all have excellent credentials!!! and you will match somewhere....
Just enjoy a little at this time since once you are in your residencies, life is gonna suck:-)

Hi genedoc, sorry to hear about your rejections. When did you applied at Dartmouth....I applied about a month ago....no outcome yet....even rejection will work....I have spent money....at least I owe a reply from programs.
