Hello! I've got my visa interview for CS exam on oct 17. now i applied on august 8th. at that time i can have no proof of getting an interview. so on my DS156, I wrote purpose of visit as "CS exam". Now even on the visa interview I would not have received any interviews coz I haven't yet applied to any program. But my "intention" is to stay in the US for 3-4 mons and finish with the interviews. The point is the only at the port of entry [I plan on giving CS in 1st week of nov] will I have received any interviews.... So now what should be my plan of action? Mention interviews at the visa interview without any interview calls? Say nothing about interviews? Mention interviews with the interview call email printout at the port of entry? Or apply for an extension once I am in the USA and have calls from various programs....? I must mention that "convenience" is secondary to me. That I get a Visa is the most important part.... If I have to make 2 to-n-fro trips it's ok with me but just that the interview season would be over buy then!!.. Advice much required!....

I would be entirely honest, say that you've applied for the clinical skills exam and expect to be hearing about interviews shortly. Emphasize that you have no intention of making any money in the US and will be returning to India and will apply for a training visa before starting your training program in the US, if so offered. Good luck! CGR
