hi guys...i was hoping for some advice here...
i am 70% done with the qbank, with a 56% overall...
NBME i got a 310 (that was 3 weeks ago)
i will take NBME 2 this sunday...
based on my qbank score, should i go ahead and proceed to take my exam on sept 30th as scheduled? i am not looking for an amazing score, i simply want to pass the exam.
studying wise, i reread all the kaplan notes these past three weeks along with drilling first aid and goljan's 36 pg high yield.
let me know what you guys think.

If you are just looking for a pass,I think you dont need to postpone.If you get over 450 in nbme 2 it will be great.

ok guys, NBME 2 got a 390...i just want to pass the exam, should i go ahead at take it this friday or postpone it? i think i am going to go ahead and take it.
also, in this final week, what should i do in terms of last review? i am going to go through all of first aid one time, and do 150 qbank q's/day...also read the goljan 37pg HY...any other suggestions?

C_rock...I just looked at the NBME correlation, and a 390 will be under 80 in the test. I think if i was you, i would either change the date within my assigned period, or postpone the test to another period, if it couldnt be during the original period. Although you say you dont want a 99, i'm sure you do want to pass it. Yes, NBME is a very good correlation with actual score, but stuff happens and it's not 100% sure. I've read of ppl in this forum getting quite bit lower on real test than NBME. I dont know, i just think that if it was me, i would go to this test with a little bit more cushion than a 390 on NBME. This is just my opinion, if you decide to go ahead, i wish you the best of lucks!! May you have a very easy test and that you can score a 99+!!!

I think it will be a good idea to revise the biochemistry charts and cycles in these last few days.Also you may want to revise microbiology charts given in the end of kaplan micro.
