cograts those with interviews, am so down cause my LOR arent uploaded yet, more than 10 days since i sent it, i am now wondering if i should call eras , if they dont upload it tomorrow, does anyone happen to know if they have a phone serivice or should i just email them.

I think you can call ecfmg too. I did that when my lor was not downloaded. They say it takes atleast two weeks ( business days)

Not applied to SYRACUSE.ROCHESTER requires USCE. SANZ MAN you are collecting invites from top peds programs. "3 months of clerkship as student in USA (2mo in peds), working as a research assistant in peds, has 1 yr experience in peds.".... this is working for you great. Dont feel jittery for your interview i think they would love to take you in as resident.

Springd, lovely to hear your week is starting great with 2 invitations! My first interview is in Dallas on Nov 3rd and Baylor on Nov 7th. I will let you guys know how it goes and what qs they ask!

hey all i am also interested in peds but i have a question.. can we start our own private practice as pediatricians ? Maybe like a group practice ? I heard from somewhere that pediatricians dont have practices they have to work in a hospital only
Please enlighten me .. And also is peds too busy ? I mean the work hours etc are they more than medicine or family practice

talk about slowing down, its shutting down, i take it that there isnt much new with most of us, and the wait is kind of frustrating. but i guess we will have to make do with what we have in our hands.
anyway, vikki, how do u mean practice? please clarify. i agreee that its now time to prepare for interviews. i guess maybe we could discuss about programs we have in common? i think that would be good.
keep this thread alive, until the match.

As previously mentioned , we can fix a time to discuss different programs, different interview questions and different interview experiences.If fixing the time is a problem, we can keep writting things here . I bet SANZ has collected few more jem of interviews.

got my first rejection - Children Hospital of Pittsburgh - said they had too many applicants but in future i should re-consider their institute......
so i guess sanz and usmlevikki have the maximum interview calls so far...good luck to you guys...
